Matt Hardy Names 3 AEW Wrestlers (And 1 Jester) He Would Make Mattitude Followers In 2022

Matt Hardy names his picks for who would be Mattitude Followers (MFers for short) in AEW today.

Matt Hardy, back in 2002, was the sensei of Mattitude. This, of course, meant that he had Mattitude Followers. in more recent years, he has had the Hardy Family Office but if he was to fully embrace Mattitude once more, Matt Hardy has now picked the three names from AEW that he would choose to be his followers and he did so on the latest episode of The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast.

For the most part, he stuck to the members of his former Hardy Family Office but put a spotlight on a specific member of Private Party and a lesser touted member of the office, Jora Johl. Hardy also picked a former enemy as a potentially fun MFer.

“If I had to have three members, let me think who would be my MFers. I would want a guy that’s funny. Isiah Kassidy, I would put him in there. He’s got a hell of a personality. Sammy Guevara. I would pick him. I’d like to sign him up as an MFer. He’d be a good little MFer. Who can I make the next MFer? Maybe Jora Johl, he’d be a good MFer. Those would be my MFers. My Mattitude Followers,” Matt explained.

Matt Hardy also revealed that he wants wanted to have a personal jester of Mattitude and he says that Danhausen would be the perfect jester in 2022.

“There was one point when I was doing Matt Hardy, Version 1, and I had the MFers where I talked about having a personal jester. I had this idea one time, which never materialized, never came to be. But Danhausen could be that. He could be my personal jester,” Matt said.

Back in 2002, one of the things that elevated the Matt Hardy character was strong victories over names like The Undertaker and full support from Vince McMahon. Learn more here.
