Matt Hardy And Nic Nemeth Confront The System, Bun B Appears On TNA, Undisputed Kingdom Wins | ROH x TNA Fight Size

Here is your fight size update following TNA iMPACT! on AXS TV and ROH Wrestling on HonorClub for Thursday, April 25, 2024.

Below are highlights from both Thursday night wrestling shows.

– On TNA iMPACT, The show kicked off with Matt Hardy’s return to TNA’s weekly television program. First, “Broken” Matt confronted Nic Nemeth before they were both interrupted by The System’s Moose, Eddie Edwards, and Brian Myers. This confrontation would lead to a match between Edwards and Nemeth later in the evening where the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion lost to Eddie Edwards. 

– Ryan Nemeth also appeared on the show, saving his brother from an attack by The System alongside Speedball Mountain’s Trent Seven and Mike Bailey. 

– Nic Nemeth was scheduled to team with Seven & Bailey against The System next Friday at TNA Under Siege, but an attack has led to him being replaced by Matt Hardy. Check out the full card for the event on May 3 here.

– On ROH TV, the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions The Undisputed Kingdom (Mike Bennett & Matt Taven) defeated The Outrunners (Truth Magnum & Turbo Floyd) in a Proving Ground Match. 

– Floyd & Magnum will be in the ring next week against The Infantry. Learn more here

– Back to TNA, legendary rapper Bun B appeared with AJ Francis and Rich Swann very briefly as the segment only led to Joe Hendry confronting his rivals and claiming he would apologize to them next week. 

– Josh Alexander and Frankie Kazarian both had their sights set on the TNA World Championship. Kazarian would interrupt Alexander and this would lead to a match between the two of them where Alexander got the win. Later, Steve Maclin had an offer for Kazarian.

– Mike Santana returned to weekly TNA programming with a win over Myron Reed. He was then confronted by Steve Maclin, whom he defeated at TNA Rebellion.

– Back in ROH, Yuka Sakazaki defeated Leila Grey moving one step closer to a potential Ring of Honor World Championship opportunity.

– Ariya Daivari has the world at his fingertips! #ROH TV 04/25/24

– Brian Cage & The Gates of Agony, Johnny TV, Anna Jay, Taya Valkyrie, Abadon, and Lance Archer & The Righteous all picked up victories on this week’s episode of Ring of Honor television. 

– Sami Callihan’s return to TNA was highlighted by a victory over John Skkyler and Jason Hotch in handicap action on this week’s episode of TNA iMPACT!

– Also, Xia Brookside defeated Ash By Elegance, giving her her first loss since joining TNA. 

– This week’s ROH was headlined by The Beast Mortos, formerly Black Taurus, defeating Blake Christian and AR Fox in a Triple Threat. 

– Billie Starkz and Athena are set for a future showdown with Queen Aminata and Red Velvet. 

– On TNA iMPACT, Mustafa Ali’s Ballot Box idea to determine his next TNA X-Division Championship challenger backfired as fraud entered the system. 

– Next week on TNA, Miyu Yamashita will challenge Jordynne Grace for the TNA Knockouts World Championship. Check out the full card here
