Isiah Kassidy was originally scheduled to team with The Hardys, but he was injured by The Firm and unable to compete. This marked Jeff’s first in-ring match since AEW Double or Nothing 2022. He was arrested in June 2022 for DUI, driving with a suspended license and more.
The Firm previously had hold of the contracts of Matt Hardy & Private Party (Marq Quen & Kassidy). Hardy could not use the Hardys theme or the Twist of Fate while under service to The Firm.
