Matt Cardona Sends A Message To The GCW Locker Room
Matt Cardona is doing all he can to elevate Game Changer Wrestling.
Since debuting for the promotion in June 2021, Cardona has made quite an impact in GCW. Most notably, he defeated Nick Gage in a deathmatch at Homecoming to become the GCW Champion. Before dropping the belt to Jon Moxley in September, Cardona began referring to the audience as the GCW Universe, introduced a Universal Title spinner belt, and has lobbied for a greater overall presentation to raise the brand’s profile.
With names like Thunder Rosa, Jonathan Gresham and The Briscoes, among others, showing up and high profile shows, such as the January 23, 2022, show at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, on the horizon, Cardona is continuing to push for a more professional GCW.
He shared the following message with the entire locker room, via Twitter.
My message to the @GCWrestling_ locker room. WE have a lot of high profile shows coming up…even that show in the B town Detroit. Let’s show the world how great WE can be! pic.twitter.com/aSw3k645jv

GCW replied to Cardona, telling everyone to disregard his message.
Cardona is scheduled to compete at the November 12 Evil Deeds show in Detroit versus Alex Shelley.
