Matt Cardona Puts Out Tweet Supporting Scott D’Amore, ‘Being In IMPACT Gave Me My Confidence Back’
Matt Cardona wants Scott D’Amore back in TNA.
On February 7, 2024, Anthem announced the termination of Scott D’Amore, removing him from his role as President in TNA Wrestling. This move came as a shock to many people in the world of wrestling, as D’Amore was beloved by many stars and employees of TNA.
This situation doesn’t seem to be finished just yet though, as the TNA roster joined together to send a letter to Anthem on Thursday, February 15 that expressed frustration over the decision to terminate D’Amore.
Matt Cardona took to social media and showed his support for D’Amore shortly after the letter was posted.
.@ScottDAmore gave me an opportunity during the pandemic when WWE fired me and AEW didn’t want me.
Being in Impact gave me my confidence back and I was able to go on and become the Deathmatch King and Indy God and more successful than I’ve ever been. #WeWantScott https://t.co/hjPo681YvE
