Matt Cardona has been feuding with Jimmy Lloyd in recent months, and the rivalry is set to reach a boiling point at “GCW What Is Your Choice?”.
In a clip GCW shared on social media, Cardona commented on defeating Mike Bailey at “GCW at WrestleCade Weekend”. He then challenged Lloyd to a Career vs. Broski Match at the December 3 event. If Cardona wins, Lloyd has to be his personal Broski. But if Lloyd wins, Cardona must leave GCW forever. Cardona noted that he had already talked to Brett Lauderdale, and the match was official. The video also confirmed the bout.
“What just happened was, I finally got a victory here in GCW. I beat ‘Speedball’ Mike Bailey with my bare feet. I beat him at his own game. You know who wasn’t in the building? You who didn’t cause any distraction? Jimmy fucking Lloyd. Jimmy, you’ve been a thorn in our side for months, and I’m going to end it in New York City. This isn’t a challenge. This is official. I talked to Brett Lauderdale. I have the big bucks, he listens to me. New York City, my backyard, me and you, Jimmy. If I beat you, you’re my personal little Broski. Tanning, meal prep, the gym. I’m fair…if Jimmy can beat me, Deathmatch Royalty leaves GCW forever,” Cardona said.

Cardona then posted about the match and stated that he would leave GCW forever if he couldn’t beat Lloyd.
Cardona has been wrestling for GCW since 2021, and he is a former GCW World Champion. He memorably beat Nick Gage in a Death Match at GCW Homecoming 2021 Night One to win the title.
