Matches And Segments Set For Tonight’s SmackDown Live; Tye Dillinger In Action, Andrade “Cien” Almas Versus Sin Cara, MizTV, More
SmackDown with a packed show tonight.
Tonight’s SmackDown will be live from the ‘SNHU Arena’ in Manchester, New Hampshire. There are a number of matches and one segment that has been announced for tonight’s show including the return of Tye Dillinger to in-ring action after being off TV for a few weeks. Andrade “Cien” Almas and Sin Cara will have their long-awaited singles match and James Ellsworth will have to not only face the wrath of Asuka but the rest of the SmackDown women’s locker room as they surround the ring as Lumberjills.
* MizTV with ‘Team Hell No’
Ahead of their SmackDown Live Tag Team Championship match this Sunday at ‘Extreme Rules’, Daniel Bryan and Kane will be making an appearance on Daniel Bryan’s longtime rival The Miz’s talk-show ‘MizTV’.
* AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
It was announced yesterday afternoon that Shinsuke Nakamura and the current WWE Champion AJ Styles were going to have their sixth singles match thus far in 2018 tonight on SmackDown Live.
* Lumberjill Match – Asuka vs. James Ellsworth
Last week on SmackDown Live James Ellsworth and Asuka met in a singles match in which both competitors were counted out because Ellsworth ran away from Asuka. Tonight there will be no running by Ellsworth as the remainder of the SmackDown women’s division will be surrounding the ring and he’ll be left alone with the woman who will be challenging his running-mate Carmella for the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship at ‘Extreme Rules’, Asuka.
* Tye Dillinger vs. Samoa Joe
Both Tye Dillinger and Samoa Joe will be making their in-ring returns to SmackDown Live after being off television for a number of weeks.
* Sin Cara vs. Andrade “Cien” Almas (w/ Zelina Vega)
This match was scheduled for the June 12th edition of SmackDown Live but did not happen for what was said to have been an injury suffered by Sin Cara. The two luchadores will meet in the squared circle tonight to put their words away and their fists up.
Fightful’s coverage article of tonight’s SmackDown Live will go up at 7 PM EST. Following tonight’s show, our crew will be reviewing the action that transpires during the blue-brand’s weekly show.
