Masato Yoshino Announces He Will Retire In 2020

Masato Yoshino’s career is coming to an end as he announced he will retire at some point in 2020. Yoshino did not give an exact date, but noted he is stepping away from the sport due to lingering effects of a neck injury suffered in 2017.

Yoshino, 39, made his debut in 2000 and is a former four-time Open The Dream Gate Champion. He is also a former six-time Open The Brave Gate Champion and eleven-time Open The Triangle Gate Champion.

Known for his blazing speed, Yoshino has wrestled all over the world, including stops in TNA/IMPACT, Wrestling Society X, Lucha Libre AAA, Ring of Honor, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, and more.
