– After Ibushi’s win over SANADA in the tournament, Jay White crashed Ibushi’s post-match press conference and challenged him to a match for the briefcase he won that guarantees him a shot at an IWGP Heavyweight Championship match at Wrestle Kingdom 15. Typically, G1 Climax winners defends their briefcase ahead of Wrestle Kingdom.
