Marty Scurll Feels That Villain Enterprises Have Made ROH’s Six-Man Belts Relevant Again

Marty Scurll has high praise for his stable-mates.

At the ROH TV tapings this past December in Philadelphia, Marty Scurll, PCO and Brody King joined forces to form the group now known as Villain Enterprises. They have gone on to capture the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships, ROH World Tag Titles and PCO and Brody King are the current NWA World Tag Team Champions.

Marty Scurll and Brody King wrapped up a tour of Japan earlier this month and on the final day of the Best Of The Super Juniors tournament, Scurll and King joined Chris Charlton on the NJPW English podcast and towards the end of the podcast, Marty Scurll spoke about Villain Enterprises and said that they have made the ROH World Six-Man Tag Titles relevant again and ROH has wanted to put them in main events because of the quality of matches they put on as a trio.

“We try so hard to offer something different and I feel like we’ve being doing a really good job of that in Ring Of Honor. Talking about the belts again as well: That’s been our thing in Ring Of Honor is we won these six-man belts which were almost irrelevant before we won them and every show, we’re headlining the shows with these six-man belts whereas the champion…. The main event is us, because we made those matches so exciting, so fast-paced and so thrilling that they were like, ‘Oh, we’ve got no choice but to put those guys in the main events with those six-man belts’ so we’ve made those belts mean something now so it’s been really cool for us.” Scurll explained.

Villain Enterprises are defending their Six-Man Tag Titles at Ring Of Honor’s Best In The World pay-per-view and to get an updated look at that match card, click here.
