Marty Jannetty Worries About His Legacy After Hacked Facebook Post

Marty Jannetty is mad about a fake Facebook post ruining his legacy.

Last year, a post appeared on Marty Jannetty's Facebook which garnered a lot of attention because it said Jannetty was considering having sex with the women he thought was his daughter until recently. Jannetty released a statement following the incident saying his account had been hacked via a stolen phone.

Jannetty told The Sun that his emails and message box have been filled with questions and interview requests about the situation.

“I'm still getting bombarded with emails and messages about this and fans at live events ask me questions about it. In fact every damn body seems to have their own podcast now and wants me to go on there to talk about that disgusting post.Of course I would never think anything like that. It's messed up," said Jannetty.

As a veteran with three decades of experience, a former World Tag Team Champion, and a former WWE Intercontinental Champion, Jannetty said he is worried no one will remember what he did in the ring twenty-five years from now.

“It’s almost comical that I worked my ass off so hard to make my name in wrestling and through years and years of blood, sweat and tears, I did it. The barber shop window episode with Shawn is legendary. It happened over 25 years ago and yet people still rave about it. Yet one fake ‘BS’ story has risen right up there with that. It makes me mad because I wonder if in 25 years from now, will they still be saying ‘that pervert wanted to fuck his daughter?,'" said Jannetty.

Jannetty also expressed how badly his daughter took the negative attention which he said was the worst part of the whole thing.

The full interview is available at The Sun.co.uk.
