Marko Stunt Set To Undergo Surgery After Suffering A Leg Injury At Joey Janela’s ‘L.A. Confidential’

Some unfortunate news for Marko.

At Game Changer Wrestling and Joey Janela’s ‘Lost In New York’ show this past August during SummerSlam weekend, “Mr. Fun Size” Marko Stunt burst onto the scene and the five-foot dynamo immediately grabbed the attention of the independent wrestling scene. Most initially thought Marko was a young child but Marko is 22-years old and began training to become a wrestler at the age of 15 when he fell in love with the sport after he attended a wrestling show in Mississippi.

Marko went on to be booked for Cody and The Young Bucks’ ‘All In’ show where he competed in the ‘Over The Budget’ Battle Royal. Throughout the months coming out of ‘Lost In New York’, Stunt worked for MLW and PWG. Last night in Los Angeles Marko returned to Game Changer Wrestling to compete at Joey Janela’s ‘L.A. Confidential’ show at ‘The Hi Hat’. Stunt went one-on-one with Eli Everfly and the match was called off because Marko suffered a serious injury. There is no definite word on when the injury occurred but Stunt was said to have injured his fibula while taking a “Canadian Destroyer” on the outside.

A few hours went by and after the show ended Marko Stunt took to Twitter to alert all who reached out to him that he did suffer a break in his leg and is set to undergo surgery. Joey Janela who is at home rehabbing was watching the show from his own personal space and commented on the matter and told everyone to send their best wishes to Marko Stunt.

Full results from Joey Janela’s ‘L.A. Confidential’ are published here on Fightful, and on top of the Marko Stunt incident, former WCW World Heavyweight Champion David Arquette had his neck cut by Nick Gage during their match. For more on that, click here.
