Mark Henry Says The One Thing He Has Never Had The Chance To Do In WWE Is Be General Manager

Mark Henry as GM?

WWE Hall Of Famer Mark Henry has put together quite the resume’ for himself in the WWE. Henry has held the ECW, World Heavyweight and WWF European Championships. To cap off his 21-year career in the sports-entertainment company Henry was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame this past April but he still remains intact with the happenings in WWE as he is a talent scout for the company. Mark Henry is responsible for bringing in the likes of “The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman and “The EST Of NXT” Bianca Belair into WWE.

With all of that tied to his resume’, Henry stated there is one thing he has yet to do in WWE and that is be general manager of a brand. While speaking with The Hype Magazine, Henry was asked is there anything left for him to accomplish in his wrestling career and he stated the following:

“The only thing that I can see right now is I’ve never got to be the General Manager. I never got to be the guy that made the matches. The guy that said, ‘Listen you’re a great wrestler, but this is what we’re going to do. I call the shots. You just do what I tell you and everything will be fine.’ I never got to be that guy.” Henry said. “As far as being WWE Champion, I never got to be WWE Champion, but that’s just a brand thing. The time that I was champion, I was on RAW. I ended up being the World Heavyweight Champion and being the ECW Champion. So I’ll take it all day long and twice on Sunday.”

While on the topic of authority figures, SmackDown Live commissioner Shane McMahon is scheduled to compete this Sunday in his third-consecutive 5-on-5 Survivor Series match.
