Mark Henry Says Daniel Bryan Needs To Show Definitive Evidence In Order To Be Cleared

Mark Henry is a fan of Daniel Bryan, but agrees with Vince McMahon when it comes to not clearing him.

Speaking to Busted Open Radio (transcript courtesy of Wrestling Inc), when asked if WWE have backed themselves into a corner regarding bringing Bryan back, Henry disagreed. He's a fan of Daniel Bryan, first and foremost, comparing him to former NFL star Gayle Sayers.

I don’t think (WWE has) painted themselves into a corner. What I think they’ve done is put it in someone else’s hands. He is great, he is beyond great. He’s Gale Sayers of wrestling. He should be in the Hall of Fame, when he’s done, but he’s not done. He wants to keep going.

Mark Henry talked about Daniel Bryan's situation. He says that if it were up to him, he would need definitive proof in order to be cleared.

He wants to keep going and the medical situation will not allow,Henry said. If I’m Vince (McMahon) – as much as I love Daniel – I’m not going to let him get in there, and get paralyzed, and get hurt on my watch. They are going to have to show definitive evidence and proof that he can go in there take a pounding, and not get hurt and end up in a wheelchair. They’re not gonna do it. I know Vince, he would not have that on his conscience. Man, who wants to go to the grave going, ‘Man, I could have prevented that’?

Daniel Bryan may not have the needed definitive proof in order to be cleared by the WWE. He's made his intentions known, however, that he wants to wrestle again and may not do it in the WWE if they won't let him.
