Mansoor Hopes To Win A Championship At A WWE Event In Saudi Arabia

Mansoor made a name for himself in WWE by being a focal point of a couple of big moments on WWE’s big shows in Saudi Arabia, but he wants one more big moment in front of his home country.

In the past year, Mansoor won a massive battle royal at the 2019 edition of the Super ShowDown show and defeated Cesaro at the Crown Jewel event, both of which took place in Saudi Arabia. Getting the opportunity to wrestle in front of his friends, family and countrymen was a dream for him and said it is exciting seeing WWE’s popularity increase in the region.

“It’s great that the thousands of WWE fans across the Middle East are now being given opportunities to watch their heroes perform live in the region because when I was younger that was never the case. Both Super Showdown and Crown Jewel were fantastic events this year, with huge numbers attending. The popularity of WWE in this part of the world is only going to increase and I’m really looking forward to being a part of that,” Mansoor told Sport 360.

When asked about his goal as it pertains to wrestling in Saudi Arabia, Mansoor said he hopes to one day have a championship win there.

“My primary goal right now is to win a championship in Saudi Arabia. I would really love to share that moment with the crowd. For a Saudi wrestler to win a title on home soil would be truly special,” Mansoor said.
