Mandy Rose: I’m The Only One Watching Out For Myself And My Career, Everyone Is Replaceable

Mandy Rose was released by WWE on December 14, one day after losing the NXT Women’s Championship to Roxanne Perez. Rose was reportedly released due to the content she had been posting on her FanTime website.

On January 10, Rose appeared on the Tamron Hall Show and addressed her release, saying there was some confidentiality to her release, but did say she was never told her release stemmed from content on her FanTime website.

Rose made $1 million from the site in December 2022. She raised the price of subscriptions from $25 to $40 following her release.

Speaking to the New York Post, Rose wondered why she couldn’t venture into multiple markets.

“I am grateful and very humbled with everything I’ve done and made at the company [WWE], but in today’s day and age, there are so many other avenues and so many other marketing opportunities, it’s like why can’t I do both? At the end of the day I’m the only one watching out for myself and my career. Everyone’s replaceable in our business – it’s true,” she said.

On the subject of her release, Rose reiterated, “I wasn’t told about racy images. I wasn’t told about anything else. I was told about the subscription-based platform.”

Rose noted that if she was given a proper warning she may have considered taking down her FanTime account.

In her appearance on the Tamron Hall Show, Rose admitted that “it would have to be a conversation” if they asked her to end her FanTime site as a condition for her to return to WWE.

The New York Post article states, “WWE did not return multiple requests for comment.”
