DeReiss has become one of the most recognizable names on the UK and Irish independent scene, recently competing in a string of matces for GCW in the United States. One promotion that DeReiss knows all too well is Over The Top Wrestling in Ireland. DeReiss has competed for the promotion a number of times in the past few years but has yet to capture a championship in the promotion.

While speaking to Fightful’s Corey Brennan in a recent interview, DeReiss noted that his next step in OTT is to win championship gold.

“Yes, definitely. OTT is genuinely one of my favorite promotions to wrestle in. One of the best in Europe, easily. I love the whole roster. I get on very well with a lot of the guys, like Session Moth Martina, Fabulous Nicky, all of that. Personally, I want to win a title in OTT now. I’ve been around for almost two years. I’ve won cool matches, I’ve lost matches, wrestled cool opponents. I feel like what’s next for me is to win a title, whether that is a gender-neutral title, the OTT World Heavyweight Championship, the Tag Team Championships. I’m ready for everything, really. I’ve got tag partners. I can perform in big matches. Sammy D has been the champion for almost a year now. He’s a very good wrestler. He was my first match in OTT. So it’d be good to run that one back and see if we can get the win over him this time. Renzo Rose, like I say, good to run that one back as well, lost to him. So I’ve got some scores to settle, really. So I feel like it writes itself. I would like to have a championship match at ScrapperMania. I tweeted Joe Carbray about this. I don’t know if he’s replied on that podcast, but Joe Carbray, I would like a title match at ScrapperMania.”

While a date has not been set for ScrapperMania, one match that is set for the event is Loco Rumble winner B Cool challenging whoever may be OTT World Champion when the show takes place.
