The National Wrestling Alliance is adding another title to its lineup.
On the special “EmPowerrr” edition of NWA Powerrrr on July 26, Madusa, the co-Managing Director of NWA USA, announced that the promotion will be introducing its first-ever NWA Women’s TV Championship. No other details regarding the title were given during the announcement. However, Allysin Kay, who was standing by Madusa for the announcement, commented on the news.
The former NWA World Women’s Tag Team Champion stated that she believes the new title will heat up the competition in the women’s division. She also noted that she feels like Billy Corgan created the title so that she could win it.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider previously reported that NWA planned to introduce the title, which has been discussed as a potential vehicle to push Kay. If she wins the gold, Kay will become NWA’s first Women’s Triple Crown Champion. In the past, she has held the NWA World Women’s Championship and the NWA World Women’s Tag Team Championship.
NWA has also announced that it will be bringing back the NWA USA Tag Team Championship at NWA 74. More information is available here.
In other women’s division news, the NWA announced that the Burke Invitational will return at NWA 74.
