Madison Rayne Announces Her Retirement From IMPACT Wrestling

Madison Rayne officially announced her retirement on the countdown show before IMPACT Hard To Kill.

One of the most decorated women’s wrestlers in the history of IMPACT Wrestling has announced that she is hanging up the boots. Following a career that stretched across three different decades, Madison Rayne will be retiring from IMPACT Wrestling with the intent of focusing on her home life and being a wife and a mother.

Madison first debuted in IMPACT in early 2009 and quickly rose to prominence as a member of The Beautiful People alongside Angelina Love and Velvet Sky. throughout her years in the ring, Madison would become a multiple-time Knockouts Champion and a multiple-time Knockouts Tag Team Champion.

Although Madison Rayne would spend most of her career in IMPACT, she did have a brief stint in WWE as a part of the Mae Young Classic Tournament in 2018.

Madison Rayne had her last independent match for Warrior Wrestling in 2019 in a losing effort to Kylie Rae, who retired shortly thereafter.

Most recently, she was a color commentator for IMPACT alongside her real-life husband, Josh Mathews. Recently, it was reported that she would be leaving the company as she had found a new career outside of wrestling.

Josh Mathews will be working behind the scenes as a producer. Currently, the commentary team for IMPACT is Matt Striker and D’Lo Brown.
