Luke Harper Leaves WWE Tour Early, Mojo Rawley Replaces Him After Still Teaming With Ryder
WWE talent missing tours, being dismissed from tours and leaving them seems to be happening with regularity these days. Luke Harper is among the latest to have to abandon a WWE international date.
The former WWE Intercontinental Champion Harper left the Mexican tour a little early because his wife went into labor with their child sooner than expected. The two would have a baby boy.
This left Harper's partner Rowan to team with the newly-heel Mojo Rawley on the show. The duo beat the makeshift squad of Tye Dillinger and Sin Cara in what served as Mojo's first match teaming with someone else since his split from Zack Ryder on Smackdown Live this week. Oddly enough, Rawley and Ryder teamed together the night before in Peru….being beaten by none other than the Bludgeon Brothers in a three-team tag match that also involved Dillinger and Sin Cara?
Confused yet? Harper is expected back this week for Smackdown Live, as well as WWE's upcoming Clash of Champions pay-per-view event.
In recent months, Bo Dallas, Bray Wyatt, JoJo Offerman and Roman Reigns missed dates due to illness on international tours, while Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn were both sent home due to unclear circumstances.
