Luke Harper Injury Update, Scheduled To Be At Performance Center
Luke Harper could be following the buzzards back to Raw in the near future.
According to PW Insider, the Wyatt Family member is progressing toward an in-ring return.
“Luke Harper is scheduled to be at the WWE Performance Center this coming week in order to test his knee and hopefully be officially cleared to return to the ring, PWInsider.com has confirmed. Harper tore his ACL on 3/21 during a dark match segment and was forced to undergo surgery and undergo physical therapy.”
Harper was injured in a dark match following the March 21 episode of Raw. The Wyatt Family face Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn, Dolph Ziggler and Dean Ambrose in a tag match. The 6’ 5” and 275 pound Superstar seemed to injure his right leg in that match, while punching Reigns in the corner.
In a video released by WWE on Friday, the company put together a package on how the top 4 free agents were in sports entertainment, with the list being The Rock, The Undertaker, Luke Harper and Emma. Raw Color Commentator Corey Graves provided voice over the video and said few men of Luke Harper’s size can match the arsenal he brings to the ring. Graves said one minute Harper can take his opponent’s head off with a clothesline, then can hit a hurricanrana. Also, Harper’s reign as Intercontinental Champion was mentioned and how he could be champion again.
But a story was posted on WWE’s website almost a month ago. The story was a top ten list of hottest free agents after the WWE Draft. Harper was not included on that list and was not very happy about that.
