LuFisto Clears Up Medical History After Being Informed “One Of The Big Ones” Won’t Sign Her

LuFisto has been a longtime veteran of the Independent scene who has yet to make her way full-time to a top promotion such as WWE, IMPACT, ROH, or now AEW.

Taking to Facebook, LuFisto revealed that she was recently told “by an acquaintance working for ‘one of the big ones’ that my medical history was the reason why they wouldn’t even think about signing me.”

In an effort to clear up any concerns and dispel things written on Wikipedia, LuFisto laid out her medical history.

2007: A back injury put her in the hospital in January 2007, but she was back in the ring by July. She did not retire due to the injury, as has been written.

2010: Went to the hospital in May 2010 for fear of a stroke or heart attack. Discussed the hospitalization, and her fear, in an interview while trying out for “Tough Enough” and believes people thought she had a full-on stroke due to the episode. She had no scars on her brain. She would have stopped wrestling if that was the case.

2011: Revealed atrial septal defect. Had surgery to close the septum with an endoscopic, closed chest approach.

2018: Had surgery to remove most of her cervix after finding out she cancerous cells in her cervix. Her last test was negative.

2019: Has arthrosis in her knee. Thought 2019 would be her last year but lost 30 pounds and got shots in her knee, which has helped and has been cleared by her doctor.

She ended up writing, “I am dedicated, I am perseverant and hard working… And you know what on top of this, I believe I’m a decent human being which is a good thing, right?”

LuFisto is booked for FLQ Wrestling on Feb. 8 against Nyla Rose.

In an interview with Fightful in October 2019, Jordynne Grace revealed she would like to see LuFisto in IMPACT Wrestling. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
