Michael Elgin & Great Bash Heel (Tomoaki Homna & Togi Makabe) vs. Yuji Nagata, Shota Umino & Ayota Yoshida
The match begins with Nagata’s team attacking the opposition before the bell sounds, Homna gets triple teamed by Nagata and company. Umino nails Homna with a missile drop kick for a near fall, the brawl spills to the arena floor for the majority of the competitors. Makabe tags in and he stomps away on a downed Umino, Makabe nails Umino with a few strikes before tagging Homna back in. Homna nails Umino with chops and an axe handle smash, Homna nails a downed Umino with a falling headbutt. Elgin tags in and he levels Umino with a few chops, Elgin lands a few more strikes before eating a drop kick from Umino. Nagata tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team, Nagata nails a downed Elgin with a series of kicks.
Nagata then nails a cornered Elgin with a boot to the face, Elgin fights back and he nails Nagata with a few super kicks. Makaba tags in and he nails a cornered Nagata with a running clothesline and multiple punches, Nagata fights back and Makabe drops him with a clothesline. Nagata recovers and he nails Makabe with an exploder suplex, Yoshida tags in and he drops Makabe with a shoulder tackle. Yoshida connects with a penalty kick to a downed Makabe for a near fall, Makabe recovers and crushes a charging Yoshida with a clothesline. Makabe then hits Yoshida with a lariat for a near fall, Makabe then hits Yoshida with a King Kong Knee Drop for the near fall.

Toa Henare vs. Bad Luck Fale
The match begins with Henare jumping Fale as he enters the ring, Henare knocks Fale into the corner with a flying shoulder tackle. Fale goes for the Grenade and Henare counters by landing a headbutt, Henare goes to the top rope and he drops Fale with a shoulder tackle for a near fall. Henare goes for a Samoan drop and Fale gets free by destroying him with a lariat, Fale then hits Henare with a Grenade followed by a Bad Luck Fall for the three count.
Winner: Bad Luck Fale
Chaos (Hirooki Goto & Yoshi-Hashi) vs. Suzuki-Gun (Taichi & Takashi Iizuka)
The match begins with Iizuka jumping Chaos during their entrance and he attacks them with a steel chair, the brawl quickly spills all over the arena between both teams. Taichi gets Yoshi-Hashi in the ring while Iizuka and Goto battle on the arena floor, Taichi rips the shirt off of Yoshi-Hashi before whipping him with it. Yoshi-Hashi recovers and he catches Taichi with a hurricarana, Yoshi-Hashi traps Taichi in the ropes while landing some chops. Iizuka interferes and he hits Yoshi-Hashi with a chair shot to the back, Taichi drops Yoshi-Hashi before kicking him in the back. Iizuka tags in and he starts biting a cornered Yoshi-Hashi, Iizuka rips the tape off of Yoshi-Hashi’s shoulder before biting that injured arm. Iizuka also attacks Goto by biting him on the forehead, Yoshi-Hashi recovers and drops Iizuka with the Head Hunter.
Goto tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team, Goto hits Taichi with a suplex onto a downed Iizuka. Goto then hits Iizuka with a spin kick followed by a Saito Suplex for a near fall, Iizuka recovers and bites the injured arm of Goto. Taichi tags in and he works over the injured arm of Goto. Goto recovers and he nails Taichi with a Saito suplex, Yoshi-Hashi tags in and he nails Taichi with a drop kick to the back for a near fall. Yoshi-Hashi and Taichi have a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Yoshi-Hashi then drops Taichi with a Western Lariat, Taichi grabs the referee to avoid Karma and Chaos takes out Iizuka instead. Taichi levels Yoshi-Hashi with a lariat for a near fall, Taichi then hits Yoshi-Hashi with a buzz saw kick followed by a power bomb for the three count.
Winners: Suzuki-Gun (Taichi & Takashi Iizuka)
After the match, Taichi attacks Chaos and a host of others with his microphone stand.
Juice Robinson & David Finlay vs. Bullet Club (Cody & Hangman Page)
The match begins with some chain wrestling between Page and Finlay, Cody tags in and Robinson gets a tag a few moments later. Robinson takes Cody down with a few arm drags before landing a drop kick, Finlay tags into double team Cody alongside Robinson. Page hits the ring and Finlay knocks him right back, Finlay chases Cody around the arena floor until Page drops him. Page tags in and he nails Finlay with a pump handle bridging suplex for a near fall, Cody tags back in and he nails Finlay with a few strikes. Cody holds Finlay down while landing an elbow strike to the head, Page tags in and Finlay fights back against both opponents. Cody fights back and he drops Finlay across the knees of Page, Cody tags in and he gets Finlay on the top rope.
Finlay fights back and he drops Cody with a middle rope European uppercut, Robinson and Page get tagged in by their respective partners. Robinson quickly cleans house against the opposing team, Robinson nails Page with a top rope high cross body for a near fall. Robinson corners Bullet Club before landing a running clothesline, Robinson goes for a cannonball and Cody stops it from happening. Robinson gets Bullet Club in the corner again before landing the cannonball, Page recovers and he nails Robinson with a roaring elbow strike. Page eventually catches Robinson with a standing shooting star press for a near fall, Cody tags in and he jabs away at Robinson. Finlay hits the ring to work with Robinson and nail Cody with a double flapjack, Page returns to hit Finlay with a Buckshot Lariat.
Robinson then drops Page with a left, Cody lands a Beautiful Disaster before eating a leg lariat from Robinson. Robinson goes for Pulp Friction and Cody counters with a vertabreaker for a three count.
Winners: Bullet Club (Cody & Hangman Page)
After the match, Cody grabs the microphone to bash Juice Robinson and then he challenges Robinson for the IWGP United States Title.
– Before the next match, Tonga Loa says Bullet Club should put the NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Titles on the line. Matt Jackson agrees to make this a title match and the NJPW President agrees.
NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Title Match
Bullet Club Elite (Marty Scurll, Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) (c) vs. The Firing Squad (Taiji Ishimori, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa)
The match begins with Matt and Tama having a striking exchange in the middle of the ring, a huge brawl quickly breaks out that spills all over the place. Tama throws Nick into the barricade as the brawl continues, the Bucks get back in the ring before taking out Tama and Loa with suicide dives. Nick follows that up with a suicide dive against Ishimori, Matt gets Tama in the ring to attack him with more strikes. Loa interferes and he crushes Matt with a clothesline, Tama stands over Matt while landing a plethora of strikes. Tama nails Matt with a suplex for a near fall, Loa tags in and he also attacks a dazed Matt with strikes before landing a delayed vertical suplex. Ishimori tags in and he nails Matt with a series of strikes, Tama tags back in and he double teams Matt alongside Loa.
Tama traps Matt in the corner while landing a ton of strikes, Ishimori tags in and he nails Matt with a clothesline in the corner. Matt recovers and he nails a charging Ishimori with a spear, Matt then drops Tama and Loa with a double clothesline. Nick tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team, Nick hits Loa with a bulldog while dropping Tama with a clothesline. The Bucks then take out Ishimori by knocking him to the arena floor, Nick nails Tama with a swanton bomb so Matt can get a near fall on him. Tama then causes Nick to accidentally nail his brother with a knee strike, Tama then takes out Nick with a Tongan Twist. Scurll and Ishimori get tagged in by their respective partners, Ishimori then hits Scurll with a handspring enzaguri. Ishimori traps Scurll in the ropes before landing a sliding German suplex, Ishimori then lands Bombs Away for a near fall.
Scurll catches a charging Ishimori in a chicken wing while The Bucks hold everybody else in sharp shooters, the submissions are eventually released before Nick takes out Tama and Loa with a suicide dive. Bullet Club Elite nail Ishimori with a Three Headed Monster for a near fall, Ishimori fights back and Tama tags in behind Scurlls back. The Bucks hit the ring to take out Ishimori and Loa, Loa and Ishimori return to take out The Bucks with a few moves. Scurll then hits a charging Loa with a super kick to the knee, Tama nails Scurll with a Gun Stun from out of nowhere for the three count.
Winners: The Firing Squad (Taiji Ishimori, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa), your new NEVER Openweight 6 Man Tag Team Champions
After the match, The Firing Squad throw all the title belts at the NJPW President.
Los Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito, Bushi, Evil & Sanada) vs. Suzuki-Gun (Minoru Suzuki, Zack Sabre Jr., El Desparado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru)
The match begins with Suzuki-Gun jumping Los Ingobernables before the bell sounds and the brawl spills to the arena floor, Sabre Jr applies submission holds to Evil on the arena floor. Suzuki grabs a steel chair and the referee takes it from him, Naito grabs a chair and he duels with Suzuki. The referee takes the chairs away and the two just go after each other anyway, Suzuki and Naito take their battle in the ring while everybody else brawls on the arena floor. Suzuki drops Naito with a running kick to the midsection, Suzuki traps Naito in the corner while landing some strikes. Suzuki drops Naito and he applies the knee bar, Suzuki goes for the Gotch Style Pile Driver and Naito gets free. Desparado tags in and he attacks a cornered Naito by trying to crush his head, Naito gets triple teamed by members of Suzuki-Gun.
Suzuki catches Naito in an arm bar while balancing himself on the ringside edge, Sabre Jr tags in and he has a striking exchange with Naito. Sabre Jr eventually nails Naito with an overhead kick to the injured arm, Naito recovers to hit Sabre Jr with an enzaguri followed by a neck breaker. Naito then hits Sabre Jr with a flying forearm before tagging Evil in, Evil quickly cleans house against the opposing team. Evil nails Sabre Jr with a shoulder tackle before landing a senton bomb for a near fall, Sabre Jr nails the arm of Evil with an overhead kick. Sabre Jr attacks a kneeling Evil with a series of kicks, Evil uses a referee distraction to nail Sabre Jr with a side kick. Evil goes for Darkness Falls and Sabre Jr counters with a kimura, Evil gets free to nail Sabre Jr with a fisherman buster suplex.
Bushi and Kanemaru get tagged in by their respective partners, Desparado interferes and that allows Kanemaru to drop Bushi. Desparado and Kanemaru double team Bushi for a near fall, Bushi fights back and he nails Desparado and Kanemaru with a double hurricarana. Sanada tags in and he applies the paradise lock to Kanemaru, the rest of Suzuki-Gun hit the ring to attack Sanada. Desparado nails Sanada with a spear before Kanemaru lands Deep Impact for a near fall, Kanemaru then hits Sanada with an enzaguri. LIJ hit the ring and they all attack Kanemaru, Suzuki hits the ring to apply the knee bar to Naito as everybody else battles all over the building. Sanada gets Kanemaru in the Skull End and a tap out follows.
Winners: Los Ingobernables (Tetsuya Naito, Bushi, Evil & Sanada)
Chaos (Tomohiro Ishii, Jay White & Toru Yano) vs. Bullet Club (Kenny Omega, Chase Owens & Yujiro Takahashi)
The match begins with White applying the headlock to Owens, Owens and White have a chain wrestling session until White lands an elbow strike. White backs Owens into the ropes while landing a few more strikes, Owens fights back and he drops White with a boot to the face. Yano tags in and Takahashi gets a tag a few moments later, Takahashi bites the hand of Yano before Yano lands an inverted atomic drop. Yano tries to remove a turnbuckle pad and Omega stops him from using it, Takahashi trips up Yano before landing a basement drop kick. Omega tags in and he stomps away on a downed Yano, Owens tags in and he double teams Yano alongside Omega. Owens and Omega then hit Yano with the wishbone, Omega tags in and he nails Yano with a few strikes before tagging Owens back in.
Bullet Club drops all of Chaos in the ring and they apply multiple wishbones while Takahashi’s lady friend does her dance in the middle of it all, Omega gets Takahashi’s friend out of the ring and Yano drops him. Ishii tags in and he nails a charging Omega with a power slam, the rest of Bullet Club hit the ring and Ishii takes them all out. Owens hits the ring and he works with Omega to double team Ishii for a near fall, Owens tags in and Bullet Club triple teams Ishii. Owens nails Ishii with a knee strike for a near fall, Ishii fights back against Bullet Club and the rest of Chaos joins in on the attack. Owens then gets triple teamed by Chaos after they clear Bullet Club out of the ring, Owens recovers and nails Ishii with a striking combination.
Owens goes for a lariat and he eventually drops Ishii with one for a near fall, Owens goes for a package pile driver and Ishii escapes to land a lariat of his own. Ishii then hits Owens with a brain buster for the three count.
Winners: Chaos (Tomohiro Ishii, Jay White & Toru Yano)
After the match, Tomohiro Ishii seemingly challenges Kenny Omega for the IWGP Heavyweight Title.
Rey Mysterio, Kushida & Pro Wrestling Sengoku Enbu vs. Chaos (Kazuchika Okada, Sho & Yoh)
The match begins with Mysterio attacking Okada with a few leg kicks, Mysterio quickly drops Okada with a hurricarana. Mysterio takes Okada out of the ring before using a hurricarana to send him back into the ring, Mysterio knocks Okada into the ropes before missing a 619 attempt. Kushida and Sho get tagged in by their respective partners, Kushida drops Sho with a hip toss before landing a drop kick. Mysterio tags in and he works over the arm of Sho, Kushida tags in and he wrenches away on the arm of Sho. Kushida then hits Sho with a drop kick to the injured arm, Kushida holds Sho down while wrenching away on his arm. Sho gets free by catching Kushida with a power bomb, a brawl breaks out on the arena floor between members of both teams.
Yoh tags in and he nails Kushida with a hip toss for a near fall, Yoh applies the body scissors to a downed Kushida. Sho tags in and he wrenches away on the arm of Kushida, Yoh hits the ring and he double teams Kushida alongside Sho. Kushida eventually recovers to take Sho and Yoh out, Enbu tags in and he cleans house against the opposing team. Enbu nails Sho with a bulldog followed by a standing moonsault for a near fall, Enbu gets Sho down again before applying the ankle lock. Sho gets free and he nails a leaping Enbu with a German suplex, Okada tags in and he stomps away on a downed Enbu. Okada then drops Enbu with a DDT for a near fall, Enbu escapes a Rainmaker attempt by nailing Okada with a hip attack.
Mysterio tags in and he nails Okada with a springboard butt drop followed by a drop kick, Okada recovers and he nails a charging Mysterio with a flapjack. Yoh tags in and he nails Mysterio with a falcon arrow for a near fall, Mysterio and Yoh exchange roll ups and near falls. Sho hits the ring to double team Mysterio alongside Yoh, Mysterio avoids 3K by nailing Yoh with a tornado DDT. Mysterio sends Sho and Yoh into the ropes before attempting a 619, Okada blocks the 619 by nailing Mysterio with a drop kick. Enbu and Kushida take out Okada and Sho with suicide dives, Mysterio sends Yoh into the ropes before landing a 619. Mysterio nails Yoh with a springboard splash for the three count.

NJPW G1 Climax 28 Finals: Hiroshi Tanahashi vs. Kota Ibushi
The match begins with Tanahashi wrenching away on the arm of Ibushi, Tanahashi drags Ibushi to the ground and Ibushi gets to the ropes. Ibushi starts trying to lure Tanahashi into a striking battle, Tanahashi slows things down by holding Ibushi in a headlock. Ibushi gets free and he applies a head scissors to Tanahashi, Tanahashi gets free and Ibushi drops him with a kick to the midsection. Tanahashi recovers and he drops Ibushi with a drop kick to the knee, Tanahashi starts dropping elbws on both knees of a downed Ibushi. Tanahashi goes for a sharp shooter and he transitions into a triangle scorpion, Ibushi gets free and Tanahashi attacks his injured knee again. Ibushi recovers and he nails a charging Tanahashi with a flying head kick, Ibushi follows that up by nailing Tanahashi with a power slam followed by a second rope moonsault for a near fall.
Tanahashi gets back up and Ibushi knocks him out of the ring with a drop kick, Tanahashi goes for a drop kick on the ring apron and Ibushi counters by landing a double stomp. Ibushi gets Tanahashi back in the ring and a striking exchange breaks out, Tanahashi eventually drops Ibushi with a dragon screw leg whip. Tanahashi goes for another drop kick and Ibushi lands a double stomp a few moments later, Tanahashi knocms Ibushi out of the ring with a drop kick to the injured knee. Tanahashi goes to the top rope and Ibushi takes him off before eating a sling blade, Tanahashi traps Ibushi in the corner before landing a running drop kick. Tanahashi and Ibushi have another striking exchange in the middle of the ring, Ibushi eventually nails Tanahashi with a package tombstone pile driver for a near fall.
Tanahashi recovers to drop Ibushi and land multiple dragon screw leg whips, Tanahashi then applies the Texas cloverleaf to Ibushi and Ibushi eventually gets to the ropes. Ibushi rolls to the ring apron and Tanahashi traps him in the ropes before landing another dragon screw leg whip, Ibushi falls to the arena floor and Tanahashi nails him with a High Fly Flow. Tanahashi waits for Ibushi to get back in the ring and Ibushi counters his sling blade attempt to knock Tanahashi to the arena floor, Ibushi then hits Tanahashi with a springboard moonsault that sends both crashing to the arena floor. Ibushi gets Tanahashi back in the ring before landing a springboard drop kick, Ibushi gets Tanahashi to the top rope before landing a super hurricarana for a near fall.
Ibushi would then hit Tanahashi with a German suplex for a near fall, Tanahashi counters an Ibushi knee strike to roll him up for a near fall. Ibushi recovers and nails Tanahashi with a knee strike from out of nowhere, Tanahashi and Ibushi have yet another striking exchange in the middle of the ring. Tanahashi backs Ibushi into the corner while eating a plethora of palm strikes, Tanahashi and Ibushi exchange a ton of palm strikes. Ibushi eventually drops Tanahashi with a lariat from out of nowhere, Tanahashi and Ibushi exchange more blows until Tanahashi nails Ibushi with a sling blade for a near fall. Tanahashi then hits Ibushi with a straight jacket German suplex for a near fall, Tanahashi goes for a High Fly Flow and Ibushi gets his knees up. Ibushi then hits Tanahashi with a running knee strike to the back of the head, Ibushi follows that up with a moonsault double knee strike to the midsection.
Ibushi follows that up by nailing Tanahashi with a lawn dart into the corner, Tanahashi rolls to the ring apron and Ibushi German suplexes him back into the ring. Ibushi hits Tanahashi with a Last Ride power bomb for a near fall, Ibushi then hits Tanahashi with a straight jacket German suplex for a near fall. Tanahashi counters a knee strike from Ibushi with a few Twist & Shouts, Tanahashi lands a dragon suplex on Ibushi for a near fall. Tanahashi crushes Ibushi with a trio of High Fly Flows for the three count.
