Liv Morgan On Training At WWE Performance Center: “I Didn’t Know How To Wrestle, Almost Everything I Know, I Learned There”
Liv Morgan credits nearly all of her wrestling knowledge to the WWE Performance Center.
WWE RAW star Liv Morgan recently appeared on ‘Out of Character with Ryan Satin‘ and would delve into how she had no idea how to wrestle before beginning training at the company’s PC.
“I didn’t know how to wrestle. I needed it. The PC was incredible. I really enjoyed my time there. I learned a lot and I’m still learning a lot, but if gave me a solid foundation to be able to do what I do. There is no place like the PC in the world. There is only one facility like that. The way it runs, how it’s structured, the information you learn, the tools you’re given. I wish everyone that wants to wrestle can do to the PC and learn. Almost everything I know, I’ve learned there. Sara [Amato]. She was so patient with me. Also, coach [Matt] Bloom is amazing and Norman [Smiley], we have a great staff. Sara was so patient with me and was my trainer the entire time I was there and kept going over things with me again and again and again and giving me a lot of chances. I was little bit unruly when I first started. She gave me a lot of chances and just learned how to be a mature and responsible adult. I was 20 when I started and I had only worked at Hooters. The most responsibility I had was making sure your wings got too hot and your beer got too cold. Now I’m having to be at the Performance Center at 8 am, which is late, 7:30. You go there a half-hour early. I didn’t have a car, moved to a new state. It was my first time on an airplane for the tryout. I didn’t know anything except I wanted to be in the WWE more than I wanted to breathe. I had a lot of lessons to learn and a lot of growing up to do and they let me. I’m grateful for their patience and time and allowing me to make mistakes and learn from it.”
Morgan most recently competed for the RAW Women’s Championship on the 12/6 edition of Monday Night RAW, where she came up short in her bid for gold against current champion Becky Lynch.
