Speaking to Bleacher Report, Bobby Lashley commented on his next challenger(s) in the Elimination Chamber:

“I like what you said because that’s one thing I’m excited about,” he said. “Yes, Brock’s in there, but the roster is amazing. Coming back, looking at the two rosters and the possibilities of people I can get in the ring with, that excites me, especially as a champion. Riddle has elevated himself since our last feud. He’s got a little bit of knowledge from Randy [Orton], one of the greatest ever in this business. Randy’s mentored him to another level.”

“I’m excited about the Chamber,” he said. “I’ve always been that way, whether it’s wrestling or fighting. Give me the best and let me test myself because sooner or later, all of this will be over for me and I’m going to retire my boots. I don’t know, another 10, 15, 20, 30 years. I’m going to hang up my boots and when I do, I’m going to say that I had the opportunity to get in the ring with the absolute best this business can offer.”

Seth Rollins takes it back. He never trained Zicky Dice.

– New Japan Pro-Wrestling Bids Farewell to Kimihiko Ozaki as the announcer retires.

February 7’s Korakuen Hall event saw NJPW bid farewell to ring announcer Kimihiko Ozaki, who made his final calls after over 19 years in the company.

After announceing the winner of the main event which saw Master Wato and Ryusuke Taguchi facing El Desperado and Yoshinobu Kanemaru, Taguchi stopped Wato from closing the show, bringing Ozaki into the ring where he was met by members of hontai and President Takami Ohbari. Ohbari thanksed Ozaki for all he has done over the last two decades, while Ozaki, after thanking the company for allowing him to postpone his resignation in the wake of a cancellation on January 29, had a simple address.

‘New Japan Pro-Wrestling is a second family equal to my own’

As he was showered with applause by the Korakuen faithful, a traditional toss in the air was his reward for a long and prosperous career in NJPW. We at New Japan Pro-Wrestling would like to join fans in wishing Ozaki every success in his new ventures.
