Liv Morgan On Ronda Rousey Potentially ‘Stealing Spots:’ Be So Good That You’re Undeniable

Ronda Rousey returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble, winning the women’s Royal Rumble in the process.

Rousey’s return was heavily rumored before the event, though never confirmed by WWE until her music hit. During her first run with WWE, Rousey shared the ring multiple times with Liv Morgan, often working in six-woman tag team matches against the Riott Squad at WWE live events.

Speaking to Louis Dangoor of GiveMeSport prior to the Royal Rumble, Liv commented on the possibility of Rousey’s return.

“I totally understand that, but the competitor in me is like ‘be so good that you’re undeniable,'” Liv said about criticisms that Rousey takes a spot from full-time performers. “She’s a huge name and a great performer, she’s great at everything she does. I understand that it might take away a spot from someone else, but also part of me is like ‘well, if you were that good and the spot is yours, it’d be yours’, you know? I welcome Ronda. I love Ronda, so I’d love for her to come back and I’d love to meet her baby girl.

Rousey is set to make her WrestleMania decision on Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown.

Liv was part of the Royal Rumble, entering at number six and lasting over 37 minutes. If you missed anything from WWE Royal Rumble, check out Fightful’s full report on the show by clicking here.
