Lio Rush Victorious In His 205 Live Debut
He came to collect.
For weeks on end on the WWE Network exclusive show 205 Live, the brand has been awaiting the arrival of the “Man Of The Hour”–the self-dubbed “23-year Old Piece Of Gold” Lio Rush. Lio Rush has not been featured in the ring on WWE programming since early January during an episode of NXT TV where he was quickly defeated by Lars Sullivan.
Prior to that Rush had been off of NXT TV due to a tweet he sent out about Tenille Dashwood following her release from WWE. But now Rush is looking to put all that behind him as he has already taken aim at the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Cedric Alexander and Lio’s journey to Cedric began tonight in his first match on 205 Live.
Rush took his time getting ready to compete but once he was set to go the five-foot dynamo took off and made quick work of his opponent Freddy Bravo who is a part of the Southern California wrestling circuit.
Following his victory Rush was interviewed in the ring and put the entire 205 Live roster on notice about feeling the rush.
