Leon Ruffin took to Twitter/X on March 24 and wrote that he had spent too much time away from wrestling, and he missed it. Ruffin stated that he was ready to step back in the ring, as he announced that he was available for bookings, seminars, and appearances at bookleonruffin@gmail.com. He also encouraged fans to tag their favorite promotions that they wanted to see him in.

Ruffin, formerly known as Leon Ruff, last wrestled at ROH Death Before Dishonor 2023, where he, Master Wato, and Ryusuke Taguchi lost to ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, and Toa Liona. He had wrestled somewhat regularly on AEW Dark several times before that, and he also competed on AEW television multiple times.

During his time in WWE, Ruffin held the NXT North American Championship. The company released him in a wave of cuts in August 2021.

Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
