Last Man Standing Money In The Bank Qualifying Match Announced For 7/2 WWE SmackDown
Two longtime friends are set to do battle once again.
On tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, it was announced that Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens would face each other on July 2nd in a Money In The Bank Qualifying Match. Zayn, who was in a good mood before learning of the news, visited Adam Pearce and argued that he shouldn’t have to beat KO again. Pearce disagreed and then informed Sami that it would be a Last Man Standing Match.
Sami and Kevin have been feuding since before WrestleMania 37, with Owens trying to stun Sami out of his conspiracy theory mindset. At WWE Hell In A Cell, Zayn defeated Owens who, seemingly, fought injured after having his trachea damaged by two Nigerian Nails courtesy of Commander Azeez.
The current participants in the MITB Ladder Match are Big E, Riddle, John Morrison, and Ricochet.
.@SamiZayn will face @FightOwensFight NEXT WEEK on #SmackDown in a #MITB Qualifying Match.
