Here is your post-Monday Night Raw fight size update for September 19, 2022:

– Bobby Lashley successfully defended the WWE United States Championship on Monday. He defeated Seth Rollins in a hard-fought match, though he had a little help from Matt Riddle.

– The Miz invited Dexter Lumis to be his guest on Miz Tv. He noted that Lumis’ torment has bothered him so much that he punched a Minion at his child’s birthday party. Lumis showed up, but he made his own entrance by using a knife to cut through the ring canvas. He then tried to drag The Miz and Tommaso Ciampa down with him, but the duo foiled these efforts.

– Dominik Mysterio talked over some passionate boos from the crowd and stated that he’s proud to stand alongside his new family. Later in the show, as the Judgment Day prepared to go out and celebrate, Dominik noted that he has a new “mami” in Rhea Ripley.

– Damage CTRL ended the night standing tall. After a showdown with Bianca Belair, Alexa Bliss, and Asuka earlier in the show, Bayley battled Bliss in the main event. Thanks to some help from her stablemates, she scored the win. After the bout, the faction attacked Belair, Asuka, and Bliss, and Bayley challenged “The EST” to a match for the RAW Women’s Championship at WWE Extreme Rules.

– Riddle cost Rollins his match, and the former world champion interfered in his foe’s bout later in the show. The two men brawled backstage and agreed to wage war in a Fight Pit match at WWE Extreme Rules.

– As noted, Riddle came up short in his match. He teamed up with Rey Mysterio to face Damian Priest nd Finn Balor of The Judgment Day. Rollins’ interference made all the difference, as it led to Mysterio getting pinned by he Judgment Day duo.

– Speaking of Balor, he tried to recruit AJ Styles to the Judgment Day, and while “The Phenomenal One” turned him down, Balor left the invitation open.

– Kevin Owens faced Austin Theory in a match where Mr. Money in the Bank had the chance to prove the former WWE Universal Champion wrong about him. They threw everything they had at each other, and a late distraction from Johnny Gargano, who grabbed Theory’s briefcase, helped Owens score the win.

– Alpha Academy confronted Gargano about his interference, and they were getting ready to teach him a lesson until Kevin Owens arrived, setting the stage for a tag team match next week.

– The Brawling Brutes stepped across brand lines and previewed their upcoming match with The Usos. They were interrupted by the Street Profits, who noted that Ridge Holland and Butch didn’t beat them to earn the title shot. The duos then faced off, and the Brawling Brutes picked up the victory.

– NFL star George Kittle, a known WWE fan, was in attendance on Monday night.

– Sheamus commented on his stablemates’ win, stating that drinks are on him.

– Rhea Ripley acknowledged the backlash Dominik Mysterio has been getting; in a tweet, she said fans shouldn’t be mad because she and Dominik are making them feel “some type of way.”

– On Raw Talk, Judgment Day was in a celebratory mood, and Finn Balor stated that he wanted to soak in the “California love.”

– Elsewhere on Raw Talk, Alpha Academy discussed their upcoming match with Owens and Gargano. Gable said he’s tired of being “shooshed”. He stated that it doesn’t matter where the match happens because the result will be the same; the Alpha Academy will triumph. Elsewhere, the Brawling Brutes discussed their run of success, and Holland made it clear that they intend to win the gold.
