Lars Sullivan Returns On 10/9 WWE SmackDown

Lars Sullivan has finally returned to WWE.

After suffering a knee injury in the early half of 2019, Lars Sullivan has returned to WWE on the October 9 episode of SmackDown laying waste to both Matt Riddle and Jeff Hardy after they successfully won a tag team match against The Miz and John Morrison.

Sullivan was first announced as coming to WWE at Survivor Series 2018. It was then announced that he would be part of a group of NXT call ups that included Lacey Evans, Otis, Tucker, and EC3. Early on in his run, Sullivan ran down Matt and Jeff Hardy and would actually be attributed to the injury that would force The Hardy Boyz to vacate the WWE Smackdown Tag Team Championship.

After that, he would face Lucha House Party in a three-on-one handicap match at WWE Super ShowDown 2018 before being taken down by his knee injury. During his time away, it was found that his knee injury was more severe than first indicated leading him to miss well over a year of television time. Sullivan was not even included in last year’s WWE draft pool, but upon returning, it was announced that he would be included in Monday’s list of eligible Superstars to be drafted.
