Lance Storm Hopes People Respect ‘Mongo’ McMichael For His Effort
Former NFL player turned WCW wrestler (and Four Horseman) Steve “Mongo” McMichael has recently re-emerged in the wrestling world thanks to the Twitter account ‘what will mongo do next?’
The account posts clips of Mongo’s wrestling days in WCW where he, despite his best efforts, doesn’t always grasp what’s happening in the ring. The clips have given many on wrestling Twitter a laugh and the account already has 15,000 followers in less than a week.

Though fans have laughed at Mongo’s struggles in the ring, Lance Storm wants fans to remember that Mongo put forth a valiant effort and could have easily coasted off his football reputation.
As much as I love this account I hope people Respect Mongo for the effort he put forth. He was thrown in the deep end and went full bore. Many others would have big leagued and been lazy. #Respect. https://t.co/OIUBCPA9IB
