LA Knight Says He’s Too Focused On Making Sure Everything Hits The Mark To Feel Gravity Of WWE Fastlane
LA Knight talks being an overnight success after twenty years in wrestling.
LA Knight is set to go against Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso of The Bloodline. His partner for the evening will be John Cena, one of the longest-running top stars in WWE history and a superstar WWE is now introducing as the “Greatest of All Time.”
Speaking with Shakiel Mahjouri of CBS Sports, Knight revealed that he hasn’t taken a lot of time to absorb the gravity of the situation or where he currently stands in the WWE landscape as he is currently focused on making sure October 7 goes off without a hitch.
“In a weird way, I’ve got no business being here,” Knight said. “Looking just a year ago at where I was and what I was doing, what a hell of a turnaround. It’s damn near unheard of.
“I’m not the best at letting myself really feel that. Maybe 10 years down the road when I look back. But right now in this situation, I’m just so — I don’t know if you’d say — maniacally focused on making sure that everything hits the mark and that everything is the way I want it to be. It’s tough for me to step back and be like, ‘Wow, this is great!’ Occasionally, I might have that thought but it’s very fleeting.”
Knight previously joked that with his star on the rise he needs to ask John Cena about how to hide in public. Read more here.
