LA Knight Returns, Boa Throws A Fireball, Wendy Choo Wakes From Her Nap, And More | NXT Fight Size

Here is your post-NXT fight size update for Tuesday, January 11, 2022.

– Bron Breakker opened the show and told everyone that plans on challenging him for the NXT Championship that he will outwork them all.

– Elektra Lopez kicked Xyon Quinn in the groin, helping Santos Escobar secure the victory over him. As a result, Elektra will remain a member of Legado del Fantasma.

– Joe Gacy and Harland lost a play-in match for the 2022 Dusty Cup via DQ when Harland wouldn’t break a hold in the corner. Because of this, Edris Enofe and Malik Blade have qualified for the tournament.

– Tony D’Angelo defeated Pete Dunne is a Crowbar on a Pole match. Not only did Tony win, but he was the one to secure the crowbar and thus was allowed to use it during the match. 

– Malcolm Bivens delivered a message to WALTER and Imperium, saying that the Creed Brothers plan on taking home the tag team titles after they win the Dusty Cup. 

– Persia Pirotta, Indi Hartwell, and Wendy Choo defeated Kayden Carter, Kacy Catanzaro, and Amari Miller in tag team action.

– MSK were excited about the possibility of repeating as Dusty Cup Champions, but we interrupted by Dakota Kai who told them that nothing divides friendship more than success. 

– It was announced earlier in the night that Von Wagner had been suspended and fined for his actions at New Year’s Evil, but Vic Joseph informed the audience later on that the suspension had been lifted and his fine was paid. No explanation was given. 

– The match between Boa and Solo Sikoa ended up devolving into a backstage brawl which didn’t conclude until Boa threw a fireball at Solo’s face.

– AJ Styles defeated Grayson Waller. After the match, he reunited with a returning LA Knight who also took a turn beating up Waller.
