LA Knight To Andrade: You Won A Contest To Be A Big-Time Loser
LA Knight is ready to face Andrade for the WWE United States Title.
On the September 13 episode of WWE SmackDown, Andrade bested Carmelo Hayes in their fifth match. Now, he will get the opportunity to challenge LA Knight for the WWE United States Title on September 20.
Speaking on the September 13 episode of the WWE SmackDown LowDown, LA Knight made it clear that he doesn’t think anyone is going to take the gold away from him.
“I walked out there and had about 30 seconds of something to say. As far as I can tell, USA, our first night here, historical night. What that means is, well, maybe just not quite enough of the US champ tonight. But I’ll tell you where you get enough of the US champ, you’ll get enough, and probably, if I’m honest, still not enough because you can’t get enough of this, man.
“Next week, it will be me, and it will be Andrade for this pretty little piece of gold, the chip that I hold on my shoulder right here in Sacramento, my man. Look at all you did. I told you before, the only thing you did is you won a contest to be a big-time loser, because ain’t nobody taking this off me. Not you, not anybody. Why? Not because you’re not good enough, but because I won’t let you. That’s not an insult. That is just a fact of life. Because whose game is it? With everybody saying L-A-Knight, yeah!”
Knight has previously stated that he thinks he can be champion for 1 million days. Read his comments here.
