KUSHIDA is back in NJPW.
At the end of the June 21 New Japan Road event, KUSHIDA made his return to the company, confronting IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion Taiji Ishimori. Ishimori had just successfully defended his title against Hiromu Takahashi in the main event.
KUSHIDA said he had signed with NJPW and that he would spend the rest of his wrestling life in an NJPW ring.
