Kurt Angle Sees Comparisons Between Jason Jordan And The Rock’s Push To The Top

Kurt Angle sees a lot of what got the Rock over in Jason Jordan.

He was asked by CBS Sports about the comparison. He immediately agreed, nothing how when The Rock first started out, he was hated, and grew into a full fledged heel run after about a year.

"Yes, yes. We knew, and I knew personally, that this was going to make the fans sick to their stomach [of Jordan], but I wasn't concerned about how it was going to develop and where it is going to go from here on" Angle said. "It's gong to be a pretty cool storyline, and I think a lot of fans are going to say, 'You know what? This kid deserves to be in the main event level.'

Angle says that Jordan is continually getting better as a singles star, giving him high praise and even touts him as someone who could possibly be one of the better in ring workers the company has.

"[Jordan] is developing every single week. He's getting better and better, and his promos and pre-tapes are getting better and better" he said. "His in-ring ability — I said this before and I will say it again — he has got to be in the top three or the top five in-ring performers from an athletic standpoint right now today. A lot of people would disagree with me but continue to watch him and see what he can do and you will see what I'm talking about here in the future."

The current storyline on Raw has Jason Jordan increasingly butting into other people's feuds, demanding a match with Samoa Joe. It happened this past week, causing him to have a match with Seth Rollins, which you can see above.
