Kurt Angle Refers To John Cena As “The Greatest WWE Superstar Of All Time”

Kurt Angle has nothing but respect for John Cena.

The WWE Universe collectively wished a happy 42nd birthday the former 16-time WWE World Champion John Cena on April 23rd. WWE Chairman Vince McMahon sent out a birthday message to Cena as well referring to John as the “Babe Ruth” of WWE. WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle wished a happy belated birthday to Cena today via Instagram and Kurt posted a video of he and Cena’s Submission match from the 2003 ‘No Mercy’ pay-per-view and noted the following in the caption:

17 years ago, I recall when a young John Cena took WWE by storm. Even then, John pushed me to my limit. I absolutely Loved stepping into the ring with him. John has been able to stay healthy (for the most part) and dominate WWE for 17 years, which is unheard of, and nearly impossible. For that reason, He will go down in history as the most consistent, and the Greatest WWE Superstar of all time. Happy belated birthday John. You earned my respect the first time we locked horns. #itstrue #wwe #wrestling #wordlife #rappercena
