Kurt Angle Offers His Thoughts On Roman Reigns’ Leukemia Announcement, Talks His Toughest Opponent, More

Kurt Angle’s Q&A session on Facebook.

WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle has been training with members of the ‘Insane Championship Wrestling’ roster ahead of his first-round match in the WWE World Cup tournament that takes place at ‘Crown Jewel’ in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on November 2nd. Every Friday it has become tradition for Kurt Angle to do a Q&A session on Facebook for the fans and one of the more highly-liked answers that Angle gave during the Q&A was when he offered his thoughts on the announcement that former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns’ Leukemia has returned after being in remission for eleven years.

“Roman is a very special person. He was the leader, but never acted like he was. He loved to interact with EVERYONE. He wanted feedback on his matches and would give advice to others about their matches. Roman is, was and always will be “the guy”. I’m confident he will beat this, and will be back sooner than later.” Angle noted.

If Kurt Angle wants to run the gauntlet in the WWE World Cup tournament, he’ll be wrestling three matches in one night. Angle was asked about that task and who is he most excited to face.

“I’m ready for it. I’ve wrestled most of them already. Wouldn’t mind a shot at the guys I’ve never wrestled… Dolph, Seth and Miz.” Angle typed.

Throughout his storied career, Angle has mixed it up with a plethora of opponents but he named Chris Benoit as his toughest.

“Austin was tough…Cena was tough, too. But Benoit was the toughest. It was like wrestling myself when I was in the ring with him.”
