Kurt Angle Names Chyna As His Favorite Female Wrestler Of All Time, Talks Team Angle, And More

Kurt Angle’s latest Q&A session.

The current RAW GM Kurt Angle has taken a temporary “vacation” from his duties as General Manager of Monday Night RAW. Filling in for the WWE Hall Of Famer is former WWE United States Champion and now “Acting General Manger” Baron Corbin. Although Kurt is not on-screen for the WWE at the time moment he has continued doing his weekly Q&A session over his personal Facebook page.

Angle was asked a plethora of questions this week–one of which being does Kurt miss Team Angle which was the faction consisting of himself, Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas and Paul Heyman. Team Angle kept a strangle hold on the WWE Championship and the WWE Tag Team Titles for a great portion of their run together. Angle noted that Team Angle did not last as long as he wanted it to but he is thankful for all of the great matches that he was able to have throughout that specific time of his career.

“I truly miss Team Angle…it didn’t last as long as it deserved. But, I miss the matches I was able to have with Shawn, Eddie, Brock, Benoit, Big Show, HHH, Rock, Austin, Taker, Cena, Mysterio, Orton and many more. I never like to toot my own horn but between 2001-2006, I had to be the most versatile athlete in WWE. I was very proud of that.” Angle noted.

With the first episode of the Mae Young Classic II airing on the WWE Network this week and WWE’s first-ever all-women’s PPV ‘Evolution’ coming up next month, Kurt was asked for his favorite female superstar of all-time and he revealed it to be none other than former two-time WWF Intercontinental Champion Chyna.

“Chyna. She broke the barrier for women to not only show their wrestling skills, but she competed with men. She’s the true pioneer.”

Kurt Angle responded to the question of, “What was it like to Angle Slam Mae Young?” and he also provided advice to those looking to become pro wrestlers. For the full Q&A session, head over to Kurt Angle’s Facebook page.
