Kurt Angle Comments On If He Thinks Roman Reigns Should Turn Heel, And If WWE’s Title Belts Have Lost Their Prestige
Kurt Angle's weekly Q&A.
WWE Hall Of Famer and the current GM of Monday Night RAW Kurt Angle answers questions from fans over his official Fcaebook page on a weekly basis. This week Angle kick-started the Q&A by answering a question/idea that has been presented by viewers of the WWE product for years; "Should Roman Reigns turn heel?"
The Olympic Gold-medalist noted that the answer could go either way as fans will continue to react to "The Big Dog" whether he's portrayed as a heel or a babyface.
"Yes and no. The fans continue to respond to Roman…whether it’s a positive or negative response. Fans CARE about him. Whether he stays face or turns heel, he will always be “the guy”. He gets a huge response every time he comes out to the stage. It’s called popularity. And he’s really good. I put him up there as top 5 in the biz today. Period!!!!"
The following question that was asked of Angle was does he believe that the championships in WWE have lost their prestige. The former four-time WWE Champion noted that he does not think that WWE's titles have lost their prestige and explained in detail why:
"Not at all. Things have changed. Fans get bored if titles stick with one person for years. A six month run is considered long now. And don’t forget that there are a billion more fans than there used to be. So some may like Roman, some may like Brock, some may like Braun or Seth, BUT The fans will eventually get to see their favorite hold a title sooner than later."
