Kris Statlander Teases A Change, William Regal Smacks Wheeler Yuta, And More | AEW Fight Size

– In the opening match of the night, Adam Cole and reDRagon defeated Adam Page and Jurassic Express.

– A new vignette aired with Kris Statlander where she teases a departure from her “Alien” persona.

– Ricky Starks and Powerhouse Hobbs told Keith Lee not to think he can show up on their show, Rampage, and think he runs things. They say if he shows up again this week, they’re going to stomp him out like a light.

Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson defeated Chuck Taylor and Wheeler Yuta. After the match, Yuta returned to the ring and extended his hand to William Regal, but was met with a violent chop and told to leave the ring. Yuta’s future with Best Friends, and now Bryan/Mox, is up in the air.

– FTR say they fired Tully Blanchard because he lost focus after they lost the tag team titles. The Young Bucks then interrupted and said that they can hire “The Best There Is” and they’ll still be the second-best tag team in the world.

– At the Jericho Appreciation Society Commencement, 2point0 were given new names, Daniel Garcia called himself a sports entertainer, and Jericho said the group’s motto is that they beat up pro wrestlers.

– Serena Deeb cut a promo on Hikaru Shida saying that she never thought about her once while she was away at rehab. Now that Shida is back, Deeb has focused on her again and is vowing to end her career.

– Wardlow was in a position to defeat Scorpio Sky and become the new TNT Champion, but interference from Shawn Spears and MJF cost him the match. His former Pinnacle teammates continued their attack after the bell, with Spears cracking Mr. Mayhem over the head with a chair.

– Matt and Jeff Hardy won their first match together in AEW, defeating Private Party. The AFO tried to attack them after the match but they were chased off by Sting and Darby Allin.

– In the main event of Dynamite, Thunder Rosa defeated Britt Baker to become the new AEW Women’s World Champion.
