Kris Statlander Comments On Her Knee Injury, Vows To Return Stronger

On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, AEW confirmed that Statlander would be out of action with an injury. The extent of the injury was not given. Statlander was ranked second in the official AEW rankings on August 3. She last wrestled against Sierra on the August 5 AEW Dark tapings.
Taking to social media, Statlander confirmed she suffered a knee injury.
Welp. One knee fixed, one to go. After the first knee injury I came back stronger and better than ever so it’s all over for you all when I come back from this one. I’m sorry to let you all done once again. I’ll be back bigger, more powerful, and more than a woman.

Statlander suffered an ACL injury in June 2020 and was out of action until April 2021.
It is unknown how long this knee injury will sideline her.
