Ibushi said on Thursday morning that he had reinjured his shoulder, but still planned on competing at the event. He is scheduled to face Joey Janela at Joey Janela’s Spring Break.
Ibushi originally injured his shoulder on a missed phoenix splash against Kazuchika Okada in the finals of the G1 Climax 2021.
