KOPW 2021 Trophy Changes Hands At NJPW Wrestle Grand Slam
Toru Yano has lost the NJPW King of Pro Wrestling 2021 trophy.
Bullet Club member Chase Owens captured the NJPW King of Pro Wrestling 2021 trophy at NJPW Wrestle Grand Slam, winning the pre-show Ranbo. Owens entered the Ranbo at number one, outlasting 21 other men to win the match.
Owens last eliminated Yano by pinfall. Eliminations could occur by pinfall, submission, being thrown over the top rope, or by being handcuffed, as per the stipulation voted on by the fans.
The man who holds the King of Pro Wrestling trophy at the end of the year is the official King of Pro Wrestling. The trophy is defended in stipulation matches that fans vote on.
