Kofi Kingston Thinks It Would Be Great To Have A Feud With Roman Reigns

Kofi Kingston is not shying away from “The Big Dog”.

The current WWE Champion Kofi Kingston is the primary target on SmackDown Live for the men’s division as he is holding the top prize on the brand. Kofi has Kevin Owens to currently deal with as K.O. stuck his claim to the WWE Championship after turning his back on Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Although Kofi is focused on Kevin Owens, he knows there are more challengers on the horizon including former 3-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns.

Kofi shared his thoughts about “The Big Dog” coming to SmackDown Live during an interview with ‘Express’ and said that he would love to mix it up with Roman at some point but added that he needs to take care of business with Kevin Owens before he starts eyeing other challengers to his WWE Title.

“Absolutely.” Kofi said when asked if Roman deserves a title shot. “I think Roman Reigns is an incredible talent. Obviously he’s been through so much. He’s a fighter, a guy who has beaten leukemia and now here he is. He’s back for what he loves to do. I love everything about Roman Reigns. I’d love to mix it up with him at some point. It would be great to have a little rivalry with Roman because him and I went at it a bit with The Shield versus The New Day. As far as one-on-one, we’ve never had that. So it would be something that the fans have never seen before and obviously he’s, pun intended, a top dog. For me to go up there and be able to mix it up with who the people look at as one of the top dogs in the industry today, I think it would be great.” Kingston said. “I think it would be great but only time will tell if that happens. I think I need to get through Kevin Owens first before I start thinking about other guys like Roman Reigns.”
