Knockouts Championship Match Made Official For IMPACT Sacrifice 2022
Mickie James’ opponent for Sacrifice has been decided.
During the March 3 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Chelsea Green and Tasha Steelz faced off to become the new Number One Contender to the Knockouts Championship. Steelz challenged Mickie James for the belt at No Surrender but came up short on that night. The bout between Green and Steelz was made by Scott D’Amore after both made their case to be James’ opponent at Sacrifice.
Mickie was on commentary for the match and made a promise to Chelsea that she wouldn’t get involved, no matter what happened. This would come back to haunt Green, as Savannah Evans would get involved on behalf of Steelz, allowing her to hit a Frog Splash for the pin and win.
As a result, Mickie James will defend the Knockouts Championship against Tasha Steelz at Sacrifice on Saturday, March 5.
