Killer Kross Says There Are “Inaccuracies” In Reports Of Him Wanting To Leave IMPACT Wrestling
Killer Kross sort of sets the record straight.
Last month it was reported that Killer Kross had requested his release from IMPACT Wrestling over unhappiness with his contract situation. PWInsider reported that Kross wanted to restructure his contract to include more guaranteed money. Kross reportedly was looking to make six-figures a year on his restructured deal. IMPACT Wrestling reportedly couldn’t come to terms with Kross on a restructured contract and won’t be granting him his release.
In an interview with MultiMediaMouth, Kross addressed the report.
“I’ve chosen not to talk about it, and the reason being [is] there are inaccuracies in that article! Quite frankly, I’m very fucking angry that article has surfaced. That’s all I’m allowed to say about that. I’m not happy about it.”
When asked about potentially leaving IMPACT for another promotion, Kross said, “My endgame is to be financially secure enough to take care of my family. Wherever that can happen is exactly where I belong. I’ve been very happy about being in IMPACT wrestling and have been vocal about that. I have a lot of freedoms there that probably wouldn’t be afforded anywhere else. There’s a level of gratitude there that is priceless.”
Kross was in attendance for AEW Double or Nothing but did not appear on-screen. He is currently involved in a feud with Eddie Edwards on IMPACT television.
