On WWE’s YouTube page, the company shared a video that recapped Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champion Kevin Owens’ trip to the Detroit Zoo ahead of WWE SummerSlam. He was shown riding past the bison habit and telling them he loved them. In another highlight, Owens visited the penguin habit and showed the residents the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.
“Look at it. Look, guys, I have two. There’s one for each,” Owens said.
The WWE star then went over to the giraffe habitat, and he stated that the experience delivered one of the greatest days of his life. He then went to see the polar bear tunnel. Near the end of the video, Owens noted that he could learn from the animals’ calmness, as he sometimes to control his temper on WWE programming.
Owens has been sidelined with an injury in recent weeks. He has not wrestled since the July 17 episode of WWE Raw. Fightful Select previously reported that he is dealing with a legitimate rib injury.
As of this writing, there is no word on when he will return to WWE TV. Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available.
