Kevin Owens “Quits” WWE On Raw
Kevin Owens has quit.
Following his loss to Seth Rollins on Raw, Owens sat in the middle of the ring, grabbed a microphone, and said, “I quit” before leaving.
Owens wasn’t on the show last week, selling a SummerSlam beating courtesy of Braun Strowman. He arrived at Monday’s edition of Raw to a huge reaction in Toronto, answering Rollins’ Intercontinental open challenge. Owens put up a valiant effort, even busting out a stone cold stunner, but his efforts came up short. The former Universal Champion missed a top rope moonsault, leaving himself open for the curb stomp.
After his loss to Strowman at SummerSlam, Owens went dark on social media. He deleted all of his previous posts, turned his avatar and header image black, and changed his bio to “Back to darkness.”
Currently, there are only two posts on his account.
It’s been a rough couple of months for Owens, who has been tossed off a ladder and cage through nearby tables. He’s also lost his best friend Sami Zayn to injury.
